    I understand the freedom from Dukkha is possible "no matter the circumstances". Yet it seems wise, if possible not to remain in abusive circumstances. Could you tell something about avoidance and confrontation or aversion and equanimity?

    A householder has a responsibility to look after aging parents. What if they are difficult people, very abusive or destructive? I didn't see a “get out” course in the Sutta.
