Equanimity seems very important. It is in the Seven Factors of Enlightment, the Ten Paramis, and the Four Brahma Viharas. Whereas Compassion/Lovingkindness is only in the Ten Paramis and in the four Brahama Viharas. Is it right to conclude that Equanimity is more important than Compassion/Lovingkindness?

Can you please discuss how to find equanimity with time and be mindful when needing to move quickly? I find I am often late or rushing despite my best planning efforts. People are often offended if we’re late and this is disrespectful. Often there are times when compassion in a situation seems more important. Despite the best planning efforts.
