You ask us to have Compassion with the animals that might get hurt or even die because of our walking meditation. Now I picture my shoes destroying families, peaceful living beings, then being compassionate with them and afterwards wishing them to be physically and mentally well. I do find that a bit disturbing. Having Compassion with these beings, wishing them well, and then hurting or killing them. Could you please explain how to let go of the hesitation to do the walking under this circumstance?
